Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actor best famous for her portrayal of Margo in 'The Magicians' an Syfy drama series about fantasy that ran until the year 2015. Her previous work was recognized as the character of 13-year-old Lebanese American girl Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing an emotional journey in the backdrop the U.S. attack on Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film "Towelhead". In the following year, she was selected as one of Variety's '10 Actors to Watch' in 2007. She was also a key character, Taslima Jahangir, in the crime drama film "Crossing Over," for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in the 'Best Female Leading category. Alongside her role in several movies, such as Mooz-lum, The Last Airbender, Pop Star and ?Under the Silver Lake, she has acted as an actor in a variety of television shows as well as recurring characters in several other films.
