Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also coaches and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first female to win at the CrossFit Games twice. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. The media has praised her for being the only woman to ever win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. The other accomplishments she has achieved include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013 and 2013. Annie, along with both her parents and siblings were raised to Reykjavik Iceland. She enjoyed playing sports and worked out from the age of five. The first time she participated was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed very well. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old of age (as as of 2021). She's 5' 7" tall, and weighs 67 kilograms. Annie began CrossFit in California, in 2009. She was able to perform very well in the initial matches. She finished amongst the top 10 out of more than 70. Even though she wasn't able to achieve any title, she finished with the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's coaching she won the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. As a result of her impressive performance, she was able to take home her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 helped her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she won consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal that was silver in 2014 and the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is currently a trainer as well as a trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has appeared as the spokesperson for various brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and the Sidekick Yorbae.
