Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. The same year, she released her first music album called It's Tina Time. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous success and Louise earned her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her career between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing more serious characters as opposed to her perception of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary however she also was an effective television director in numerous series, including Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three which is where she spent the rest of her childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down to Toronto since then.
