David Muir is a journalist and anchor in the US. He's best known for World News Tonight. The most popular newscast of America is his program that features a dramatic mix of video clips and animated gestures. Made In America, his Emmy nominated show, is yet another one of his achievements. Prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor in charge for the anchor who was his former anchor Diane Sawyer. His primetime reports on ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint Refugees and America. He has reported on news across the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He was awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to honors given by The Associated Press.
